It’s that time of year when so many of the folk around me are writing about their resolutions and goals for the coming months, so I guess I should write something about my own.

So, number one project for the next few weeks will be a presentation with the title, “Route Planning.” My idea is to set out a way for defectors from the Watch Tower movement (and other authoritarian/abusive religious groups) to move forward in life towards more rewarding pursuits than WT life allowed. It’s a development, really, from the ideas I set out in my book, “Pathways to Freedom.” It is primarily intended for presentation on a particular forum but whether or not that is to happen (I’ll let you know if it does) I will offer it or a version of it as a YouTube video or as a major reworking of “Pathways to Freedom.”

My other project is to be another novel to add to my previous Gilead novels about the stories of defectors from the “Fellowship of Gilead” – which is a distinctly JW-like religious movement. What I have in mind is a tale inspired by a recent – and rather crazy – article in “The Watchtower.”
